Travel Purpose: business

Positive: We loved the ancient building and the rural setting and yet it was close to the village with a pub, shop ( does cream teas) and lovely church. We could visit both North and South coast places easily and access to the A30 is good. Lots to do near by and we wished we had more time. The cottage itself is large and roomy with everything we needed and had lovely views. There is plenty of outside space with a nice back garden full of birds (green woodpeckers) and a lovely valley to explore. Great for dogs and probably children.

Negative: There was no house guide so we had to find things out ourselves. We tried the log burner but could not get it going properly but fortunately the weather was wonderful and the heating efficient. The shower was a bit tight and it might be worth having one over the bath? We did not see our hosts all week and it would have been nice to have them check in with us.

Summary: Lovely week in a great property in beautiful Cornwall
